Cursor Error: Invalid .cursorrules syntax

Cursor and other AI-native IDEs use .cursorrules files to guide the agent. If the file is malformed (e.g. bad JSON or improper Markdown headers), the agent will fall back to default, less accurate behaviors.

• Trailing commas in a JSON-based rule file
• Improperly nested markdown blocks
• Conflict between multiple rule sources (.cursorrules vs .clinerules)
